This workshop is tailored for neurologists, primary care physicians and pain physicians caring for patients with head, neck and face pain. The program includes both didactic and hands-on training on different interventional treatment options for patients with head, neck and face pain. This workshop is done in conjunction to the Diamond Headache Clinic Meeting - Headache Update 2017.
These procedures can be incorporated in daily clinical practice for better addressing the needs of patients presenting with otherwise intractable headaches.
Appropriate patient selection, techniques, coding and billing will be thoroughly discussed in a small group sessions.
- Trigeminal peripheral nerves block
- Sphenopalatine ganglion block
- Cervical face joint injections and nerve blocks (ultrasound guided)
- Ultrasound guided TMJ injections
- Botox injections for migraine and cervical dystonia
- Occipital nerves block
Certificate of Attendance will be given (can be used to fulfill ABHM exam requirements)

Workshop Fees: $490
A full registration refund will be issued if a written cancellation note is received more than 60 days prior to the scheduled event. If cancellation is received within 60 days of the scheduled event, a credit will be issued towards a future meeting. In the event a program is cancelled or re-scheduled, a full refund will be issued to the registrants. Registrants may elect to transfer the tuition to another program. AIHS will not be responsible for any travel and/or lodging reimbursements. Fees, schedules, and CME credits subject to change without notice. No refund will be issued for membership dues at any time.
