16th AIHS Workshop & 14th Headache Medicine Board Review Course

Workshop Program Summary
The program includes board review course lectures as well as hands-on / cadaver training in the following:
- Head and Neck Blocks
- Head and neck injections using landmarks
- Ultrasound-guided diagnostic and therapeutic injections for peripheral branches of trigeminal nerve
- Ultrasound-guided cervical nerve diagnostic and therapeutic blocks
- Trigeminal ganglion diagnostic blocks and denervation
- Sphenopalatine ganglion diagnostic blocks (percutaneous and other approaches), and radiofrequency ablation procedures
- Cervical facet blocks (fluoroscopy and ultrasound-guided) and radiofrequency ablation procedures (fluoroscopy)
- Atlantoaxial join (C1-C2) injections
- Stellate ganglion block (ultrasound-guided)
- Botulinum toxin injections for migraine and cervical dystonia (torticollis)
- Diagnostic ultrasound for occipital nerve entrapment
- IV infusions protocols for intractable headache
Anticipated 12.75 CME credit hours
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Dannemiller and The American Interventional Headache Society. Dannemiller is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Cancellation Policy
A full meeting registration refund will be issued if a written cancellation note is received more than 60 days prior to the scheduled event. If cancellation is received within 60 days of the scheduled event, a credit will be issued towards a future meeting (valid for one year from workshop date). No credit is given for no-shows. In the event a program is cancelled or re-scheduled, a full refund will be issued to the registrants. Registrants may elect to transfer the tuition to another program. AIHS will not be responsible for any travel and/or lodging reimbursements. Fees, schedules, and CME credits subject to change without notice. No refund will be issued for membership dues at any time.
