Interventional Treatments for Chronic Facial Pain, Hemifacial Spasm, and Beyond

Attendees will learn about the overview of orofacial nerves and ganglions, its correlating neuralgia conditions, and how those conditions can be treated with infusion based pharmacological management and by novel CT-guided percutaneous interventions.

Topics we will discuss:

  1. Review the nerves and ganglia of the head and neck, and correlate that with various cranial neuralgia conditions.
  2. Review current pharmacologic interventions such as Ketamine and Lidocaine infusions for orofacial neuralgia
  3. Introduce novel CT-guided interventions to treat those conditions
