Headache Board Review Course
The course will cover the following headache classifications:
- Primary headache disorders:
- Diagnosis and management of migraine
- Diagnosis and management of tension headaches
- Diagnosis and management of cluster headaches and other TACs.
- Functional medicine and headache treatment
- Other primary headache disorders (new daily persistent headache, exertional headache, idiopathic stabbing headache etc)
- Secondary Headache disorders:
- Post-traumatic headache
- High and low pressure headaches
- Cervicogenic headaches
- Secondary vascular headache
- Medication Overuse Headache
- Painful cranial neuropathies and facial pain syndromes:
- Trigeminal neuralgia
- Occipital neuralgia
- Other facial neuralgias and pain syndromes
- Special headache issues:
- Headache in special populations (pregnancy, pediatrics, elderly)
- Diagnostic approach to the headache patient
- Intractable headaches
- Interventional approach to intractable headache patient
